Though i find it really well done and i can rely on my own interpretations, i would like to hear your background to this one!.. before i may give it a fav. If you don't mind :)
At the time I had just started work on my music editing of world war 2 propaganda editing for what was to become a 33 track album. I came across some images on the archive CD I was using (thanks to Nick Davies my local WW2 enthusiast).
The images and videos were of children in gass masks and the like.

Its basically about the effect on war on those children.

However personal interuptations are accepted openly.

I dont want to go into it too deeply and what each item represents as I believe it will spoil it. The interuptations of others are part of the appeal.

True what you say, and it goes for all forms of art. :) If you would've known how many advanced ways there are to see just what a simple lyric to a song really can picture by several individuals! It wouldn't have spoiled anything for me, still got some independent imagination aside so don't worry haha =p

I recall some WW2 pictures of such.. a parent walking with a very young child, both with gasmasks, somewhere in Britain.. yeah to come in touch with such horrors even the slightest way at such a early stage in life.. and some people still choose to fight in this world...
I dont know about choosing. I recall over 1 million british people protesting against going to War, to which the Primeminister's response was to simply ignore them. That's hardly choice, especially when he's supposed to represent the people.

Agree. But i have hopes on that peoples opinion are more heard of generaly among the leaders in certain parts of the world today, though much can be point to the opposite. (the democracy we have today in Europe as example with a few elections putting people on powerful period-locked positions isn't really what i would call democracy but that's another story ;))

To maintain a war you need people at grassrot level. I don't think that propaganda and manipulation destroys an individuals free will and ability to self-analyse completely, at least not in high numbers. So the individual do have a choice. A choice to (support) fight or not (support) fight. This is the explaination to my reaction and how the situation is... as i want to see it at least, peoples independence i mean.

Yeah, i'm an optimist :D (and really good at ranting haha!!) To belive in a future i have to believe in the ability of the single individual to reason with her/himself. Otherwise there is no end to conflict if some people blindly follow others.. and "choose" war, so to say. Hopefully you could follow my poor english =p
You are raised in this enviroment. Your language belongs to this enviroment. The very sound of your mind as it speaks to you is that of your enviroment. No one can truely be free of propaganda, if they were they would be removed of all senses.

But you do have choices and your right. We can take what we are given and with it create wonderful.

There IS a point to dreaming. I just hope humanity survives long enough to make them a reality.
